Now, let’s look at Sony Ericsson W205

Design

The front display of this slider phone is very thick with the characteristic of Walkman series. It visible from the navigation buttons, which also serves as the controller features of music. Similarly, existing softkey. The size and weight comfortable to grip. Though equipped with neckstrep, it is a little heavy when worn around the neck.

Screen

Mentioned using a 65k colors TFT screen. Display screen is still showing the points of pixels, this may be due to its pixel density is low (only 128 X 160).

Keypad and buttons

Like other slider phones, the keypad a bit cramped, although still comfortable to the fingers. Button keypad itself is large and soft when pressed. The navigation key also acts as a regulator of the music player functions. W205 also features volume control knob on the side of the phone body.

Camera

With the quality of only 1.3 mp, of course, the results is not too so sharp and bright. The  pixel spots are still visible when the image is transferred to a PC. The picture settings are fairly complete, though none of the flash. The camera can also be used for recording a video. Because of the small internal memory, we better to store the photos and videos  on the memory card.

Music Player

As the Walkman series, of course, the music features is a main feature. The ability of music player is pretty good , though not as good as the Walkman series to the class above it. The voice that come out through the speakers is not too special, but the sound output through the headset quite satisfactory. There is no equalizer option, but still include TrackID. Another songs collection should be stored in external memory due to its inadequate internal memory.

FM Radio

This is also a mainstay feature of the W205. This feature can be activated only when the headset is connected to its port, because the headset also functions as an antenna. The output of the radio can be set on the speakers with a headset is connected. The ability to find and catch the radio broadcast waves is good enough. W205 can also record radio broadcasts, and play them in media player.

Games

Sony Ericsson has a good track record when it comes to mobile games,so this phone, that also equipped with embedded attractive games based on Java. Collection of games can be added by downloading it from Sony Ericsson site. The small screen size can reduce the comfort of playing games.
